The Cultural Club Ali Belhouane (CCAB) is an NGO, established in Tunis since January 15, 1977, as an association apolitical, non-governmental and non-profit visa No. 4809 of the law of June 14, 1980. The CCAB was created in memory of Tunisian activist and activist Ali BELHOUANE (1909-1958) who was known for his great interest in literature, art and philosophy.
Since its creation and in the image of the character that was Ali BELHOUANE, considered as the leader of the youth in his time, the club works mainly for the capacity building of the young people by their implication as active citizens and future leaders in the within their communities and while promoting different forms of culture and artistic creations.
The CCAB works very closely with young people and on the themes of gender equality, empowerment of vulnerable populations, employability and youth mobility, democracy and active participation in citizenship.
Their main concern is to contribute to building a future generation based on the values of respect for others, openness and tolerance while working to eradicate all forms of discrimination and violence. Their main activities are the organization of youth exchanges, training sessions and voluntary service programs. They try to give young people the opportunity to discover themselves through their own differences and similarities through non-formal and unconventional educational tools.

Their main mission is to encourage the younger generation to become active citizens in order to participate positively in local development within their communities. They are training young people to become future leaders in their own communities by supporting them in the creation and holding of mini-projects and actions directly related to their interests, concerns and needs.
