HISTORY
On April 7, 1987, the Operational Department of the Lower Panj Customs Control was established, which was administratively subordinated to the Termez Customs.
In May 1989, by the decision of the Government of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic, the Customs Service of the Republic of Tajikistan was established with a staff of 41 people. Customs administration of the Republic of Tajikistan was carried out by the Main Department of State Customs Control of the Soviet Union and the Council of Ministers of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic.
In 1991, the Main Department of State Customs Control was transformed into the Customs Committee of the USSR, the Customs Code of the USSR and the Law of the USSR “On Customs Tariffs” were adopted.
