Reducing poverty, improving the quality of life, sustainable development in the world. Targets that may seem great and reach them remotely. But this is no reason to ignore or pay less attention to them. The Czech Development Agency (CRA) has been dealing with these three areas since January 1, 2008. The CRA was established by Act No. 151/2010 Coll., On Foreign Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Abroad and established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
The CRA is a modern donor agency that works with public administration, the nonprofit sector, universities and research institutions and the private sector. The CRA has a central role in the system of foreign development cooperation (ODA).
ČRA's activities are governed by the Bilateral Foreign Development Cooperation Plan and the Czech Republic's Foreign Development Co-operation , which was approved for the period 2010-2017. In doing so, it cooperates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Czech embassies abroad, representatives of partner countries and other donors. The CRA is an associate member of the Foreign Development Cooperation Council.
