Desarrollo y Autogestion (DYA) is an Ecuadorian non-governmental organization established in July 1988. Their priority areas of work are: education, prevention and eradication of child labor, health and income generation ; where they have managed to consolidate a solid experience, becoming a reference in these matters.
They currently work in 20 provinces of the country supporting indigenous grassroots and peasant organizations and priority attention groups, through the execution of projects or programs that promote the social and economic development of families, children and adolescents. They focus at the same time on the strengthening of national and local public policy and they have a line of consultancy (studies, diagnostics, evaluation).
Since 2007, they have expanded their national borders and are currently implementing programs to eradicate child labor in Bolivia and Peru.
Their coverage, through all the interventions they carry out, amounts to more than 30,000 beneficiaries. They have the support of various private and public allies that have joined their social cause.

Support the initiatives of popular organizations through the execution of development projects, the realization of studies, evaluations and investigations and the promotion of policies and actions that promote the social and economic development of marginalized and impoverished groups.

They are an organization with the technical capacity and legitimacy to facilitate development processes promoted by popular organizations.
