DHI is an independent, international consulting and research organisation. We advance technological development, governance and competence in the fields of water, environment and health. DHI offers a wide range of consulting and policy services as well as a leading edge technologies. DHI works with governmental agencies and authorities, contractors, consulting companies and a wide range of industries. It has more than 1,000 employees working worldwide on all continents.
All DHI's activities are performed in accordance with its quality management system, which is based on the Institute's objectives and policies and its commitment to quality, as stated in the Quality Manual and associated quality system documentation developed acording to ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and ISO 14001. The Environmental laboratories perform testing accredited by DANAK (Danish Accreditation Scheme) and according to OECD's principles for good laboratory practice (GLP).
DHI is authorised as an Approved Technological Service Institute by the Danish Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation.
