Digicel PNG Foundation
Established in October 2008, Digicel PNG Foundation has directly invested US $17 million (PGK 42.5milion) in Papua New Guinea’s rural, remote and marginalized communities across all 22 provinces, directly impacting over 300,000 people. Digicel Foundation has successfully transitioned from a new Foundation to become a respected corporate non-profit organisation, garnering partnerships from across the public and private sectors, while earning the respect of our communities.

> To provide access to basic health services in rural and other marginalized areas
> To support marginalized communities to become more self-reliant
> To provide basic services for vicitms of domestic violence
> To provide access and basic services to people with special needs
Funded 450 classrooms, 17 Mobile Health Clinics, 2 Rural Health Aid Posts, 3 Women’s Resource Centers, Co-funded 5 Family Support Centers in partnership with UNICEF and National Department of Health, graduated 221 grassroots community based teachers in early childhood development and learning participants, 10,431 men and women are now equipped with basic business skills and launched the inaugural Men of Honour Awards – a campaign against violence in Papua New Guinea.See more
