Missions of the General Direction of Local Authorities: 

The General Direction of Local Authorities has the mission of preparing the decisions of the Minister of the Interior within the framework of the accompaniment of the territorial collectivities for the exercise of their missions and competences.
 
Organization of the General Direction of Local Authorities

The General Directorate of Local Authorities is composed, in  accordance with the circular of the Minister of the Interior n ° 2558 of August 6, 2007, of the  Directorate of Planning and Equipment,  of the  Directorate of Legal Affairs , Studies, Documentation and Cooperation , the  Department of Water and Sanitation,  the  Local Finance Branch of the  Division of Administrative Coordination , and  Communication and Publishing Center.  

The National Portal of Local Authorities is managed and run by  the Center for Communication and Publication  of  the General Directorate of Local Collectivit ed in collaboration with various business departments of the DGCL and  the Directorate of Technical Training and Administrative Cadres.
