DMOS-COMIDE is the Belgian NGO of Don Bosco and focuses on projects for socially disadvantaged and marginalized people in the South. In addition we also offer educational projects for schools in Belgium.
Through trainings and education, DMOS-COMIDE supports the effective integration of youth in society and the labor market. DMOS-COMIDE also endeavors to ensure sustainable development educational programs adapted to the local needs and interests.
The educational projects of DMOS-COMIDE focus on the whole person, in the tradition of Don Bosco. In this perspective, DMOS-COMIDE supports job trainings, job placement programs and school activities, all aimed at the personal, cultural and social development of young people.
Throughout the world, DMOS-COMIDE lets the youth develop their talents through education, in schools and youth centers in Africa, Latin America and Asia. With the support of the Belgian Government, the European Union and many private donors, DMOS-COMIDE can pursue five key development objectives:
-expanding access to training and education for young and disadvantaged
-improving the quality of education
-intensification of monitoring and to market local employment
-strengthening the integration within the local context of development projects
-increasing the management capacity of partners and collaborators
