About

Founded in 2003 by actress Isabel Fillardis and her husband, the environmental manager, Julio Cesar Santos, Doe Seu Lixo seeks to reconcile development, job creation, rising incomes and quality of life by reducing environmental impacts, to seek solutions to the great problem of inadequate management and disposal of solid waste, working for the inclusion of cooperatives recyclable material collectors in reverse logistics and making recycling a sustainable business.

In partnership with the cooperative of waste pickers of recyclable materials, Socitex, the Institute seeks efficient administrative, financial and operational recycling, and provides better working conditions and higher incomes for their members.

 

Mission

Reduce the environmental impacts caused by waste disposal performed incorrectly, encouraging citizen awareness regarding the trash issue, citizenship and sustainability. Promoting behavior change in society through the bins in search of the national sustainable development, contributing to the increase of the dignity and quality of life pickers of recyclable materials.

Being a renowned institution in Brazil to develop a system of proper collection and disposal of recyclable waste, assisting the implementation of the Common 
National Solid Waste to contribute our technology to reverse logistics, promoting sustainable national development.
