Mission

Dorcas operates in Eastern Europe, Eastern Africa, and the Middle East, where local colleagues lead 13 country offices. The organization invests in building resilient communities where everyone can participate. Each year, Dorcas supports over one million people. In times of disaster or crisis, it provides humanitarian assistance and helps communities rebuild. Simultaneously, Dorcas focuses on long-term solutions to poverty and social exclusion. The organization is guided by principles of accountability, compassion, determination, and local leadership.
