Dromómanos was founded at the end of 2011 when they bought a third-hand car and for more than two years they reported how drug trafficking affects the United States to Chile. Since then they have investigated and coordinated different projects on regional problems such as inequality, corruption, violence, or impunity.
Dromómanos is a production company that investigates and coordinates journalistic projects, offers editorial consultancies, and gives workshops on how to tell great stories.
They have worked in more than 20 countries and their investigations have been published in national and international media and they have been recognized, among other awards, with the Ortega y Gasset and the Nacional de Periodismo in Mexico.
In-depth journalism is the starting point to contribute to the creation of better-informed and active communities in decision-making, through new narratives and participatory tools.
They work on their own projects and also assignments for academia, civil society, institutions, and individuals in consulting projects on how to do storytelling so that the issues have a greater impact.
They have also conducted academic research for reports such as the World Drug Report 2018.
They give workshops on how to tackle big stories and regional themes for universities, workshops, and individuals.
They bet on new narratives, looking for ways to innovate and better connect with audiences.
