East Eagle Foundation is a non NGO and not-for-profit organization in Consultative Status with the United Nations committed to improving the quality of disabled people’s life in Africa.
With the support of their partners, members and volunteers, they are developing programs and projects that meet the priority and specific needs of people with disabilities, women and children in particular, to help improve their living conditions and those of their families by DR Congo.
They work with the Congolese government, education stakeholders and communities to ensure equal rights and opportunities in education in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through awareness campaigns and training sessions, the foundation wishes to advocate for inclusive and safe school infrastructures and build the capacities of those who care for the child (parents, school directors, teachers, etc.). .) to meet the needs of children with disabilities. It also aims to strengthen the capacity of education actors to develop strategies and procedures reflecting different legal instruments, aimed at promoting education and protecting the rights of people with disabilities in action.
