The Eckert & Ziegler Group is one of the world's largest providers of isotope technology for medical, scientific and industrial use. The core businesses of the Group are cancer therapy, industrial radiometry and nuclear-medical imaging. The three business segments are:

Radiation Therapy, Isotope Products and Radiopharma.

Eckert & Ziegler was founded in 1997 as a holding company. The oldest subsidiary, Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG GmbH, was preceded by the Zentralinstitut für Isotopentechnik, a research institute of the former Academy of Sciences of the GDR.

Since 1999 Eckert & Ziegler is listed at the Frankfurt Stock Market. The shares are traded at the Prime Standard segment.
