The microfinance institution (MFI) ECLOF Kenya was established in 1994 and focuses on micro, small and medium entrepreneurs. ECLOF has branches and outlets in several regions of the country. The MFI is part of ECLOF International which is based in Geneva.

ECLOF Kenya is an established MFI with an extensive network. ECLOF Kenya has a growing number of rural clients (mainly taking out group loans) who are given training and business advice. The organization offers market-driven products to meet clients' needs. Half of ECLOF's board is composed of women. All stakeholder groups including clients are represented in the board of directors.
