They are the Eastern Electricity Distribution Company , SA ( EDEEste ), they distribute and market electricity from the East side of Máximo Gómez to the province of La Altagracia (Higüey), including Monte Plata and Santo Domingo Norte.

They cover an area of ​​11,700 square kilometers of the national territory, serve electricity to more than 729,259 customers and supply more than 5,351 million kWh per year.

They maintain constant contact with the communities in their concession area through their Social Management department and community associations, from which 15 electric cooperatives have been born that have helped mitigate problems with electricity in the communities.
