The Northern Electricity Distribution Company SA (EDENORTE Dominicana SA), has the concession for the marketing and distribution of electrical energy in the 14 provinces of the Northern Zone of the Dominican Republic: Santiago, La Vega, Duarte, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez, Monsignor Nouel, Sánchez Ramírez, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, Montecristi, Samaná, Sisters Mirabal and Dajabón.

The company has 106 customer service offices throughout the northern region of the country.

EDENORTE distributes a monthly average of 771MW to a total of 1,241,153 clients, of which 94.7% of the clients are billed.

Its medium and low voltage networks cover an area of ​​19,216 kilometers km, and include 71 substations and 63,149 distribution transformers with an installed load of 3,457,691 KVA.
