A little history
Paraguayan Technical Editions (ETP) was born in 1983 in the city of Asunción. Its founder, Dogomar Valverde (Uruguayan), after working as a seller of medical books in Montevideo, Uruguay, moved to our country with the representation of the Editions Techniques publishing house.
The beginnings were hard, from the precarious sale of books in a VW Kombi van to the Faculty of Medicine, until the business started to grow and became what it is today, a company that has an extensive range of books and technical magazines in all areas.
The continuity in these days is due to the efforts of Mrs. Eva Vallejo, wife of the founder, who worked with him side by side since the dawn of the company, and after the death of Dogomar Valverde in October 1995, he assumed full responsibility that entails managing a company, which was able to get out of the financial problems that were afflicting it.
Since 2000 the company changed its name and became a limited liability company in which Eva Vallejo (general manager), her children Vanessa, Virginia, Víctor and Carlos work in the company and are part of society.
Currently with an immense amount of titles in the areas of human knowledge, among which we can mention Medicine, Architecture, Engineering, Dentistry, Social Sciences and Communication Sciences, among others, we have materials from the most prestigious speech publishers Hispanic as: Elsevier, McGraw Hill, Pearson, Cengage, Panamericana, Limusa, Trillas, Reverte, Modern Manual, Magisterium of the Rio de la Plata, Brujas, Grupo Anaya, Valleta editions, Ergon, Marban, Athenaeum, among others.
We have a wide clientele among which we can mention Itaipu Binacional, Entidad Binacional Yacyreta, Universidad Católica de Asunción and Headquarters in the country, Universidad Americana, UCSA, Autonomous University of Asunción, Autonomous University of Paraguay, Paraguayan American Cultural Center and several prestigious companies of our environment.
