They believe that books are an underestimated piece in their society. Entertainment, short TV interviews, gazettes with a lot of pictures including captions, isn't the future going there? They are convinced that everything is nice, but by no means everything. It is hot chilli without the food that you want to spice up.
Why ?
They just want to talk about their own experiences. They make the same statement with each of their books: It starts with the fact that they think they know the subject for which they are concluding a book contract with the author. Then there are many conversations, then there is a point at which the author hesitates and does not get anywhere for a long time. In the end, when the manuscript has been rotated through all the rounds of editing, they themselves notice that they only knew a fraction of the topic at the beginning of the trip. The author, with his competent head, with his intellectual power to explore a topic, has given us and his readers the topic with a new wealth.
Books, silent as they are in front of the reader, are treasure chests. They are not just for some readers, they are milestones for all of us, for society. Some books have to wait some time in libraries or only at the night box to discover them. However, meeting an author is not only exciting for the publisher, this also applies to your treasure hunt in good books.
