Education Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA)
Education Sub-Saharan Africa was founded in 2016 to bring together a network of young people, educators and decision makers. Together, they use evidence to improve the tertiary education system, equipping millions of young people in sub-Saharan Africa with the skills for work
Their purpose is to "Join up, inform, inspire, focus and increase impact for everyone investing in education in sub-Saharan Africa." Since starting up in 2016, with significant support from the Robert Bosch Foundation, they have got off to a flying start.
