El Salvador Network SA "SALNET", is a Salvadoran company that has marked since its inception the pattern in the development of telecommunications in El Salvador, being the first private Carrier that began operating in December 1997. In that same year SALNET dabbled in the commercial world of Internet services with the most modern technological system in Central America. 
In 1999, the installation of the first digital telephone network began, thanks to our fiber optic ring that covers more than 85% of the great San Salvador and neighboring areas, as well as part of the city of Santa Ana.
