Energie Electrique du Congo, E2C, in acronym, is a public limited company with a board of directors, chairman of the board of directors and general director. The company's head office is located in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo), Boulevard Denis SASOU-NGUESSO, Downtown. E2C has four (4) hydroelectric power stations: Imboulou, Moukoukoulou, Liouesso and Djoué; and also a power plant in djeno.E2C has around 300,000 subscribers, more than 150,000 of whom are in Brazzaville. 

Mission

Guaranteeing quality and universal access to Congo's energy heritage is what E2C is working towards. Among its main missions are also the production, transport, distribution and marketing of electrical energy throughout the country. the entire national territory.

Also to ensure the planning, control of the operation and conservation of the public electricity assets made available to it by the State, and for this purpose, to take inventory of the assets financed by the State, or falling to the State during or at the end of any delegation contract, to ensure its accounting and financial management and to negotiate, where applicable, the financial conditions for the putting into operation of said assets; to ensure project management of the rehabilitation, extension and renewal programs of the works necessary for the public electricity service; to conduct or participate in studies of any nature relating to the development of Congo's energy resources and the general development of the electricity sector; to ensure the promotion of public or private investments in the electricity sector; to possibly take stakes in the capital of companies operating in the fields of production, transport, distribution, sale, import and exploitation of electricity; to operate on a transitional basis, as operator, the public electricity service, with the exclusive aim of ensuring the continuity of the public service in the event of failure of an operator or operator, or while awaiting the designation of this one; to carry out any industrial, commercial, financial, movable or real estate activity or operation in Congo or abroad, in any form whatsoever, as long as these activities or operations are directly or indirectly linked to its corporate purpose or to all similar, related or complementary objects.
