Improving Health for Those in Need
The Lilly Foundation seeks to improve the lives of those who lack the resources to obtain quality health care. They collaborate with effective global and local partners working primarily in low- and middle-income countries to address complex problems in the areas of diabetes, cancer and tuberculosis.
Strengthening Pre-K to 12 Education
The Foundation supports results-oriented programs and organizations that strengthen pre-K to 12 education. Their geographic emphasis is Indiana, the site of Lilly’s corporate headquarters and largest R&D footprint. They are focused on expanding access to high-quality early education, enhancing performance in STEM and improving K-12 educational outcomes for underserved students in Indianapolis.

The foundation has been a long-time supporter of United Way, an organization with a proven ability to drive community impact.

Matching Employee Donations
The foundation matches employee donations to educational, cultural and select health-care charities in the US, as well as various international non-profits through a partnership with Global Giving. The foundation’s matching program represents 20 percent of its total giving.See more
