Important announcements:

Based on Protective measures issued by the Government of the Czech Republic in connection with the declaration of State of Emergency visa procedures are still limited at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tehran due to the spread of the SARS‑CoV‑2. Starting August 1, 2020 visa services are partially renewed for specific types of applicants and purposes of stay. See details and FAQs here.

Starting June 29, 2021 the new system for appointment for long-term visa / residence permits. The details could be found here in the appointment system section! The main change concerns the student visa applications for which new email address (studies_tehran@mzv) has been created. All requests for appointments not meeting the conditions will be disregarded.

Consular section
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tehran has territorial consular and visa competence for Islamic Republic of Iran. Office hours of the Consular Section:
For all legalization acts and visa application submissions, a valid appointment is necessary. How to apply for an appointment you can find in the appointment system section! Please follow the instructions carefully. Documents pick-up or delivery can be done without appointment every working day between 12:00-12:30
