Initially, to break the monopoly of some groups charging exorbitant prices, and to thwart a growing trade of counterfeit spare parts, EMG (Equipment Made in Germany) wanted a distributor of spare parts. original quality for German vehicles with very competitive prices.

In a second step, still underpinned by this logic EMG diversifies into automobile distribution by becoming Eminence Motors Guarantee, with the challenge: To be an independent multi-brand car dealership that offers Senegalese the best of the automobile in the world by reinventing the rules of car distribution. Hence its commercial name EMG UNIVERSAL AUTO.
