The state water and sewerage company Enacal is in charge of implementing the water policy for human consumption and sanitary sewerage, the efficient and rational use of ground and surface water sources - destined for drinking water that will benefit society in its set. The company also provides potable water and sanitary sewer services to the urban and rural (concentrated) population in Nicaragua. Enacal is headquartered in Managua.
