ENCO
About

ENCO was founded in 1994 by former leading experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). From its initiation, ENCO found customers for its services in the field of nuclear safety, nuclear operation and technical support. Among the clients are operators, regulators, power plant designers/vendors, utilities and international organizations with interest in promoting and assuring the safe utilization of nuclear power for peaceful purposes. ENCO also provides advisory and project management services to international institutions supporting nuclear safety and security improvements in Europe and around the world.

In spite of its considerable growth and expansion of services, ENCO has stayed true to its roots, ensuring that all clients' needs are met and exceeded on every project regardless of its size or calibre. Today, ENCO is a highly specialized boutique consultancy, being exclusively nuclear oriented, but at the same time independent from any government, vendor or expert influence. This fact is one of the factors that make ENCO unique in its insights and offers, additionally to the kind of independent advice many of its customers are looking for. These approaches led ENCO to work with a variety of customers making the advice truly independent from vendors or any interest groups, to the full benefit of its clients.

To highlight ENCO's strengths:

  • Completely independent from vendors and governments.
  • Customer oriented, while offering cutting edge solutions.
  • Enviously resourceful, efficient and innovative, while being entrepreneurial and nimble.
  • Flexible, and is constantly evolving and developing its expertise and capabilities.
  • Permanent staff have university degrees, more than half with advanced degrees.
  • Rigorous quality system, ISO 9001 certified since 1997, certified under the specific Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA1) rules in accordance with the US 10 CFR 50.
