They are one of Poland’s four largest energy companies and one of the three largest electricity suppliers in Poland. Their core activities include the generation and distribution of and trading in electricity and heat, as well as gas trading.

The parent company of the Group is Energa SA based in Gdańsk. It has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since December 2013. Its shares are included in WIG20 (index of the twenty largest companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange) as well as in RESPECT Index and FTSE4Good Emerging (indexes of socially responsible companies).
