Energies for the World (Fondation Energies pour le Monde - Fondem)

The Energies pour le Monde Foundation was created by Alain Liébard, who is its president and founder. A pioneer and visionary of the link between renewable energies and development, he was able to involve public authorities, companies and leading figures in this ambitious project. Since 1990, the Fondation Énergies pour le Monde and its partners have promoted access to electricity in rural areas, mainly in Africa, Madagascar and South-East Asia.  The Foundation leads and monitors long-lasting and secure projects, in close collaboration with its local partners (local populations, communities, institutions, etc.). The Foundation is part of a responsible approach by favoring in its action renewable energies, respectful of the environment, in their diversity and without prejudice (solar photovoltaic and thermal, wind, hydraulic, biomass…).
