The Environmental Investment Center (EIC) is an implementer of modern, smart and effective solutions in the Estonian environmental landscape. To this end, they develop solutions that can be applied in practice, find cooperation and financing opportunities both in Estonia and internationally, offer a practical service and implement projects.

EIC was founded in 2000 and for the last 20 years they have been the central financier of Estonian environmental projects. With the support of various sources of funding, they have helped to implement the activities of several ministries. With their help, more than 20,000 environmental projects have been implemented with grants totaling more than 2 billion euros. In addition, they provide loans for the implementation of environmental projects and organize a green waste competition Negavatt.

EIC belongs to the administrative area of the Ministry of the Environment.
