Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI)

The chamber is a professional and economic organization, has its independent moral ,financial and administrative character . It is True representative of its members , the chamber s purpose is trade and industrial development in the region.

Erbil Chamber of Commerce was founded in 07.09.1966 by the election by a group of businessmen ,they were members in the Mosul Chamber of Commerce, the first president-elect of chamber was Mr. (Shexel l Haj Hassan al-Bazzaz).

The chamber held up , eight sessions of its ballot, the last time was in 16/4/2006 and in 26/4/2006 president and two deputies has been appointed.

In 1995, the Iraq's Erbil branch of industries was attached to the chamber and has become (Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
In coordination with chambers of commerce in Sulaimaniya, Dohuk in 3/2/2007the chamber found (The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Kurdistan Region)
