European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA)
EU-OSHA is the European Union information agency for occupational safety and health. The work contributes to the European Commission’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Strategic Framework 2014-2020 and other relevant EU strategies and programmes, such as Europe 2020.
EU-OSHA’s mission and vision statements explain its role within the mandate provided in the founding regulation. The mission statement defines what the Agency does. The vision statement explains what the Agency aims to achieve.
These statements are adopted by the Governing Board as part of the corporate strategy. They express how the Board wants the Agency to implement its mandate.
Mission: European Agency for Safety and Health at Work develop, gather and provide reliable and relevant information, analysis and tools to advance knowledge, raise awareness and exchange occupational safety and health (OSH) information and good practice which will serve the needs of those involved in OSH.
Vision: To be a recognised leader promoting healthy and safe workplaces in Europe based on tripartism, participation and the development of an OSH risk prevention culture, to ensure a smart, sustainable, productive and inclusive economy.See more
