ECPI is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2008 by a group of persons with a wide experience in promoting Human Rights in Romania and the surrounding region. ECPI has become a source of support and expertise for public initiatives in the area of promoting human rights and non-discrimination. The main feature of ECPI is that it combines working on strategic cases and media relations in the process of a complete legal advocacy.
There are five key issues we are focusing on:
-improving the access to justice in the area of human rights, as well as sexual and reproductive rights;
-empowering the civil society in promoting human rights;
-creating a strong structure for promoting sexual and reproductive rights;
-counteracting situations when religious intolerance threads on human rights;
-supporting and empowering women and vulnerable or marginalized groups.
