Executing Entity of Environment and Water (Entidad Ejecutora de Medio Ambiente y Agua) (EMAGUA)

EMAGUA is a leading institution in the execution of programs and projects of: drinking water, basic sanitation, irrigation, comprehensive watershed management, comprehensive management of water resources, the environment and climate change based on a participatory, sustainable, results-based management model and transparent, effective, efficient and with technical rigor.  Below is the detail of the correlation between the variables described from the consideration of the strategy description:   Strategic Objective 1 Execute the processes of review, execution, monitoring and closure of public investment programs and projects in the environment and water resources sectors within the framework of the powers established in Supreme Decree No. 163 to contribute to the "Living Well" of the population Bolivian.   Strategic Objective 2 To develop good institutional relations at the national, sub-national, international cooperation and other levels in the various stages of the project cycle to consolidate EMAGUA as a strategic actor in the execution of public investment and programs for the environment and water resources.   Strategic Objective 3 Develop internal processes oriented towards continuous improvement, applying a quality management system for constant improvement of institutional performance.   Strategic Objective 4 Develop the financial management process efficiently and effectively, complying with current regulations to achieve EMAGUA's financial and operational sustainability.
