Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI) is a public institution with legal personality subordinated to the Ministry of National Education ( MEN ).

Duties:
They assist the National Council for Higher Education Financing ( CNFIS ) in developing proposals for methodologies and documentation regarding the financing of higher education;

They coordinate, under the scientific guidance of the consultative councils of the MoI with RDI responsibilities, programs under the National R & D and Innovation Plan for the period 2015 - 2020 ( PNCDI III );

Implement and implement institution and system development projects related to higher education, research, development or innovation, with national and international funding, with the approval of the MEN;

They provide consulting and technical assistance for the development and management of projects within national and international scientific research, technological development and innovation stimulation programs.
