Family Educational Services Foundation (FESF) is a non-profit educational organization active in Pakistan since 1984. FESF is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all members of the community, especially those who are disadvantaged. They invest in educational development and provide innovative training programs, developmental tools and services to enable recipients to gain competency and self-sufficiency, empowering them to reach their full potential.

LEGAL STATUS

FESF is setup under a license from Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan under section 42 of the Company Ordinance,1984. Approved U/S2(36) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, read with rule 212 of the income rules, 2002. Their accounts are audited by Haroon Zakaria & Co. FESF has been awarded the UN ECOSOC Consultative status since 2014.

TAX BENEFIT TO DONOR

Donors can claim income tax credit on donation amount paid to FESF.

FESF ZAKAT CERTIFICATION

FESF is approved and eligible for Zakat by Zakat & Ushr Dept., Gov’t of Pakistan. All donations are tax exempted.

Zakat donations are collected and utilized under the supervision of a 3 member Shariah advisory committee headed by Mufti Ibrahim Essa.
