FPV's focus is sexual and reproductive health care, education and advocacy. Its vision is sexual and reproductive health for all Victorians and our mission is to provide leadership in public policy, education and clinical care. 

• It is an independent, not-for-profit, pro-choice organisation responsible to a voluntary Board of Directors. 
• It has been providing services to the Victorian community for over 40 years.
• It is partially funded by the Victorian Government.
• It also generates our own revenue through fee-based education and training programs and the sale of resources. These funds are used to improve our services.
• It is associated with the International Planned Parenthood Federation(IPPF).
• It values partnerships with organisations committed to the sexual and reproductive health of Victorians.
