Drinkable water, Irrigation, waste water reuse: a family story, as old as 70 Years. This is dated back to 1938, at Compan’s establishment in Nîmes with Mr SMALI’s mum’s senior uncle..
So it all came to be naturally, that in 1993, Noureddine Smali created FARMEX TECHNOLOGIES Ltd.
Since its creation, FARMEX TECHNOLOGIES Ltd has acquired a real know how in the design and implementation of water systems for Drinkable, Irrigation or Waste Water Reuse projects.
FARMEX TECHNOLOGIES Ltd has since become a specialist in engineering, supplying and operating water equipment. Which is why FARMEX is known today as a contractor for the water industry, delivering turnkey projects.
All their material and equipment come from the best providers, because they consider sustainability a crucial point in every project they deal with. All their providers are labelled and approved by the European Union.
Quality is their guarantee!
Their values
Water is their job and priority
Water is a vital good for humanity. Some areas of the world have many difficulties to be provided with water. They think it is their duty to allow everyone to have drinking water and irrigate their crops.
Transfer of Technologies
FARMEX's constant concern is to allow people to be as independent as possible with their installations' use and maintenance. In 2003, FARMEX was awarded the « Ethique & Coopération Internationale » prize by the French Senate, for its transfer of technologies actions, as well as for training operators in the field of Urban hydraulics (Water Authorities) in St-Vincent & St-Lucia (Caribbean islands).
Health & education - the other basics of development
FARMEX has been involved in humanitarian actions as often as possible (Africa / Haiti) :
Collecting / Distribution of scool and health supplies / medicine
As far as possible, and according to the options they have, they will be glad to offer a bit of their time and their energy in order to reach an objective that they estimated praiseworthy and without any unexpected and unfortunate consequences. Regularly, hospital materials, wheelchairs or clothes share the shipping with their professional equipments (pumps, valves, pipes, etc...) in order to be delivered to local populations in need.
