FEMAP(Health and Community Development of Cd Juárez, AC), is a civil organization founded in 1973 in Ciudad Juárez , Chihuahua, Mexico, in favor of improving the quality of life of the population that faces problems of poverty and social backwardness. Their organization does not pursue profit and has programs of service to the community in different areas, such as:

1) EDUCATION; 
2) COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION; 
3) HEALTH; 
4) PROMOTION OF HUMAN AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT; 
5) ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

FEMAP created the first model of community health intervention in the country. Women, health promoters, who with their voluntary participation manifest their sense of social responsibility. The success of this model promoted its expansion to the rest of the country and other countries in the region and the rest of the world.
