Recently FINNMAP returned back home and is now working again also in Finland. The company's headquarters is located in Helsinki. Since 2004 FINNMAP has been part of PASCO Group.
We at FM-International Oy FINNMAP believe that a company's greatest resource is its personnel. FM-International Oy FINNMAP has project experience in more than 40 countries including mapping, forest inventory, land use planning, terrain modeling and volumetric and profile measurements. In the last 30 years, FINNMAP has successfully completed some 120 assignments ranging from specific survey tasks to nationwide projects - in different climatic, topographic and cultural settings.
Lately FINNMAP's overseas assignments have focused on South-East Asia, Asia, East- and Northern Africa, Central America and Eastern Europe and on number of other countries on a single mapping assignment basis.

Land Administration
FINNMAP has strong experience of services in the field of land administration. Our expertise derives from the technically and legally advanced land administration in Finland, which has been successfully combined with FINNMAP's long experience overseas.
Aerial Photography
FINNMAP's experience in aerial photography and photogrammetry dates back half a century, yet it still forms the company's core business. The principles have remained the same during these years, but due to the rapid development of technology, equipment and methodologies have drastically improved.
LiDAR
FINNMAP purchased its first airborne laser scanner in 2007. This new investment strengthened our sensor equipment resources in both domestic and international projects. We are constantly investing to latest LiDAR technology and developing our LiDAR products to serve the needs of our clients and to deliver higher quality with required volume.
Mapping and GIS
Maps as most people know them, have not changed in years but the fast progress in computer technology has made them easy and fast to make. Traveling, planning, monitoring, protection of the environment are just some examples where geographical information has been indispensable. Besides traditional mapping and aerial photography FINNMAP works around the world to process geographical information.
Geodetic Survey
Accurate maps can be produced only if the geodetic horizontal and vertical map reference has been accurately surveyed in the field. The personnel at FINNMAP are experienced and familiar with the latest ground and airborne GPS survey technology together with a scientific approach to any kind of coordinate transformations.
