The Florida College System Foundation was established in 1994 and has been providing student scholarships to Florida's 28 colleges since 1999. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the official direct support organization for the Florida College System.

 

The mission of the Florida College System Foundation is created in Florida Statute 1004.71.

 

The mission of the Florida College System Foundation is to secure and manage public and private resources to provide optimal benefit to Florida's 28 colleges, thereby supporting students who are seeking a higher education that will positively impact their lives and the future of their communities. 

 

The Foundation is organized and operated exclusively to receive, hold, invest and administer property and to make expenditures to, or for the benefit of, the Florida College System institutions in the state of Florida.
