The AC Solidarity Action Fund arises from the experience of people committed and concerned about the socio-environmental problems of Mexico. They have more than 15 years of experience channeling small contributions to the grassroots groups. Since 2007, the year of their formal constitution, they have channeled more than 750 small contributions to grassroots groups working for socio-environmental justice in their country. Increased by almost 300% their funds to support more groups and for FASOL training. They have strengthened more than 650 grassroots socio-environmental organizations. They have succeeded in being a window of hope for those groups that had never been trusted and never received resources from another source.
FASOL is part of an alliance of global funds (Alliance for Community Action), a group of allies with whom they share ideology and work - GGF *, CASA *, SAMDHANA *, Both Ends, Small Change Fund, and Foundation Tierra Viva in Central America); They work together to promote the socio-environmental work of the grassroots groups, from the granting of small contributions, to raise funds at local, national and international level, and to build a base capacity for social and environmental action. Through this alliance donors have a reliable response channel to support grassroots action and thus contribute to building local philanthropy.
