Created as a non-profit microcredit organization (NGO), during the first 34 years of operation they were focused on financing productive activities with a high impact on the generation of jobs and productive income, through the granting of small credits for microenterprises and the agricultural sector.
Their successful management made us the NGO with the greatest presence in rural areas and bordering with Haiti within the microfinance industry in the Dominican Republic.
In May 2015, they assumed their new mission with passion and focused on providing Dominicans with financial facilities for unique education in the country.
FONDESA is a development entity focused on educational financing to boost knowledge in students, professionals and training centers in the Dominican Republic.
