The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in the Asia Pacific is responsible for developing and sustaining the important and longstanding bilateral relationship between the UK and the countries in the Asia Pacific. They deal with a wide range of political, commercial, and economic questions of interest both to the UK and the Asia Pacific.

They are made up of a skilled team of over 2,000 people in nearly 32 diplomatic offices across the region. The Asia Pacific region consists of the South East Asia (Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam), North East Asia (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan), and Oceania (Australia, Fiji, New Zealand & Samoa Network, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands) sub regions.
