Created in 1996 under the name of ING INFO and became FORMATEC in 2002, the Institution provides training in the field of technical and technological sciences (Civil engineering; Surveyor-topographer; Quality-Hygiene-Safety-Environment; Water-sanitation engineering and Waste; IT and Network Maintenance; Application Developer; Electrotechnics; Electromechanics; Electronics; Energetics and Renewable Energies) and in the field of economics and administration (Accounting-Management-Control-Audit; Human Resources; Transport-Logistics-Transit; Communication-Marketing; Territorial development; Administrative management of companies; Executive Assistant).
The different training grades are: the Professional Master, the Professional License, the Higher Technician Certificate, the Technician Certificate, Continuing Education.
The learners are of more than fourteen nationalities (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic,
Congo, Ivory Coast, France, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Chad, Togo, etc.), without distinction of sex, religion and age.
FORMATEC has for its training: 28 classrooms, 38 offices, 2 boardrooms, 20 sanitary blocks, 2 conference rooms, 2 computer rooms, 1 laboratory, 1 library, 1 medico-social service, 3 cafeteria/canteen/ reception room.
