The Foundation for Economic and Social Development (FODES-5) is a Haitian private philanthropic, secular, apolitical and non-profit organization that works in four neighboring municipalities spread over four geographic departments: Petit-Goâve (West), Aquin (South ), Côtes de Fer (South-East) and Miragoâne (Nippes).

The mission of FODES-5 is to work to promote economic, social and cultural development in its area of ​​intervention by helping local populations to develop economic strategies and basic social services aimed at improving their quality of life. The population of the intervention area is estimated at around 48,000 people.
