With the creation of BIOFUND, the concept of a Conservation Trust Fund has been introduced into Mozambique: part of a global network of institutions that are governed according to the parameters and principles defined by the CFA (Conservation Finance Alliance).
Mission
To support the conservation of aquatic and terrestrial biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources, including the consolidation of the national system of Conservation Areas.
