Frétec is a decisive service company

With extensive practical knowledge in combination with in-depth background knowledge, they guide numerous companies in the food sector.

Their clientele is varied: from companies with a few employees to large multinationals, from companies with one production line to more than 30 lines. They also provide services for governments and large research institutions.

Frétec is internationally oriented: they have realized and advised projects in many countries.

They come from the field themselves: years of experience in production companies from small to large. As a result, they have developed a real "hands-on" mentality: thinking along with their customers and coming up with solutions from practice

In the early years of Frétec (1992) they were mainly involved in the (co-)design and start-up of dairy projects abroad. These were cheese factories and production companies where daily fresh products (including yogurt, custard, buttermilk, quark, butter and drinking milk) and ice cream were produced.

Many of these projects were realized in Eastern Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Georgia.

They also provided training for the operators.

They are still involved in such projects in the aforementioned countries, but also in the Middle East and Asia.

In the 1990s, food safety systems based on HACCP became current. Food safety and quality management systems have become an important part of their business. Thanks to their practical knowledge, they can properly translate the requirements of such systems into practical solutions.
