Friedman Associates is a consulting firm that builds the capacity of nonprofit organizations that help low‐wealth individuals and communities.

We have supported several organizations to:

• develop financial products and development services;
• establish client outcome metrics and systems;
• provide board training and strategic planning;
• increase sustainability via broad‐based fund development strategies.

 

The firm leads three national capacity building initiatives for the U.S. Small Business Administration, advises the Northwest Area Foundation and the Cleveland Foundation on grant making strategies, consults for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB), and numerous CDFIs, CDCs and microlenders.
