About

OVERVIEW

At Fundación Juanfe, they know that investing in women is the key to eradicating poverty and advancing gender equality. That is why they invest in the physical, mental and emotional health, in education and in the job placement of adolescent mothers in situations of extreme poverty and vulnerability . In this way, they develop their personal and professional potential, and positively influence their environments.

So far, they have transformed the reality of more than 250,000 people: they have worked with 4,326 young people in Cartagena and 250 in Medellín, and their children, families, and communities have also benefited through their intervention programs. In addition, they treated 204,062 people, corresponding to 20% of the total population of Cartagena, at our Juan Felipe IPS Medical Center, and they saved the lives of 4,449 children under one year of age, through the Plan Padrino de Cunas.
