With the Law No. 3305 added to the Law No. 2560/3309 of the General Directorate of Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration in order to ensure that the Water and Sewerage Services of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality are carried out by a separate organization, Gaziantep Municipality has established the "Water and Sewerage Services" within the Metropolitan area on 25/04/1989. It was established under the name of Gaziantep Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorate in order to carry out the mandate.
